Planning a wedding is definitely a lot of fun, but it can also seem a bit stressful when you’re working so hard to ensure everything is just right. While this doesn’t mean that every single detail of your wedding has to go 100% the right way (saying the wrong words, or dropping the rings always gets a giggle and gives you funny memories for years ahead), it is definitely key to pick a fabulous theme and most importantly ensure that everyone is having fun.
Now whilst its cold outside, that doesn’t mean you can’t be looking ahead to warmer, sunnier days and if a tropical theme is exactly what you have in mind, Here are a handful of ways to give your wedding those tropical party vibes and to include the theme in every detail.
First: Finding the right venue
A tropical wedding is, undeniably, a bit better to have during the summertime so if you’re planning for next year, you still have some time to find the right kind of venue.
A venue with lots of light and glass, such as a conservatory in beautiful surroundings would be a great choice for this, as the glass ensures that you get stunning view and you can make the most of gorgeous flowers and foliage both inside and outside.
Try to decorate the space with bright and vivid colours, preferably those that you associate with somewhere tropical, and shades of deep green to give you that rainforest effect.
Next: Ensure the party vibes
A tropical wedding must of course, include some awesome party tunes. While you could always compile the playlist yourself and make sure that you have the right kind of music, this can take hours and unless this is your thing and you have lots of time on your hands, it’s definitely a good idea to hire a party DJ who can take care of all of this for you. That way, you don’t have to worry about whether or not the music is right – and the DJ will definitely ensure some great vibes that will keep the party going on for longer.
What about the food?
When choosing a tropical theme, you have a lot of delicious food to choose from. You can serve pineapples as snacks, for example, or even make a few tropical drinks out of them – but keep in mind that you need to serve them some proper food as well.
You may want to choose a few dishes that you guests can choose from, in case coconut, pineapples and mango aren’t their thing. Whether you opt for snack options or a large sit-down meal.
Try to think about everything you associate with tropical parties and include a few elements of this such as inflatable games, greenery and themed drinks. That way, you will have just the kind of beautiful and memorable wedding you’ve been planning.
